SUMMARY:The Secret Garden - an Aerial Theatre Show
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we present our newest studio-wide aerial theatrical production\, “The Secret Garden” based on the 1911 novel by Frances Hodgeson Burnett. We will be taking this story airborne\, using aerial arts\, high flying acrobatics\, contortion\, and dance. Sora’s Aerial Theater productions have become an amazing and fun tradition for everyone in the studio and for the community.\n\nThe story of The Secret Garden begins when Miss Mary\, quite contrary\, arrives at Misselthwaite Manor in England all the way from India having lost her parents\, leaving her rich\, extravagant life behind. Sour-faced little Mary finds herself deposited in a gloomy manor full of secrets and moorland fog.\n\nWith no one to boss around and an alarming shortage of servants to obey her every whim\, Mary does what any reasonable child would do: she sulks magnificently. During her time sulking\, Mary stumbles upon a locked garden—overgrown\, forgotten\, and possibly enchanted. With the help of Dickon\, a boy in tune with charming the animals at the moor\, Mary’s mysteriously bedridden cousin Colin\, a robin with attitude\, and a key to unlock it all\, the garden begins to coax the hearts around it back to life.\n\nIn this tale\, flowers bloom in time with friendships\, birds dance through sapphire skies\, and tantrums are replaced by companionship. The Secret Garden is a charming and whimsical voyage through healing\, hope\, and the power of nature—with a big dash of magic. \n\nCome watch our professionals and students of all ages hit the stage this spring to present this coming of age story that all audiences of all generations will enjoy. Experience jaw dropping feats and heart pounding beauty as you watch our performers fly through the air\, displaying astounding acts of strength\, flexibility and magical illusions.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce our dates for our Performing Arts Summer Camps in 2026 & open registration! \nWe will be offering 2 sessions of our Performing Arts Summer Camp:\n\nJune 22nd-26thAugust 3rd-7th\n\nHere’s a sample Performing Arts Summer Camp Daily Schedule:\n\nDAILY SCHEDULE\n10 – 10:30 Circus Warm Up/Game10:30 – 11:30 Aerial Acrobatics11:30 – 12:30 Acting Class12:30 – 1:00 Lunch1 – 1:30 Hoop Dance1:30 – 2:00 Gymnastics/Acro2 – 2:45 Dance2:45 – 3:00 Snack3 – 4:00 Aerial Acrobatics4 – 5:00 Show Rehearsal/Daily Activity\n\nDuring the week the campers work to create a full show to perform for family and friends on the last day of camp. If you would like to register your child for either (or both) session(s) of the Performing Arts Camp we only require a $100 non-refundable deposit. Each session will feature a unique show at the end of the camp so if your child would like to attend both weeks they would get to perform in 2 different shows!\nThe total cost of the Performing Arts Camp is $500. The remaining balance after the deposit is non-refundable and due one week before the start of camp (June 15th and July 27th).\nSummer Camp is for ages 10 & up or with instructor approval. DESCRIPTION:Traincation 2026 with David Gray – Aerial Straps Intensive & Artist Development\nThis 4-Day Intensive Aerial Straps Training will be a time for you to step away from the hustle and bustle of your typical schedule in order to focus on your own training\, learn brand new tricks from one of the most highly skilled coaches in the game. Level up in a focused and professional training environment and choose your own training track based on your level.\n\n\nThe training will be held in Sora Aerial Arts’ state of the art facility housing an aerial space with 28 foot ceilings\, a beautiful pole & dance studio\, weight room\, stretching studio\, and infrared sauna. The space is fully air conditioned and located in Lexington\, KY. The training is July 10-13 from approximately 10am-6pm each day. Don’t miss this opportunity to train with the best in the industry!
