The Aerial Nutcracker!" is an aerial show by Sora based off of the holiday classic "Nutcracker" which has been performed by ballet companies all over the world. In 2022, Sora created its own non-traditional spin on the Nutcracker, taking it up into the air, using new music, and putting a circus twist on this holiday classic. In this production Sora utilizes a variety of aerial and circus arts to tell the story including aerial silks, lyra, contortion, dance, hoop, high flying acrobatics, and more! Students of all ages as well as professionals from Sora’s Company hit the stage to present a jubilant and unique production that audiences of all ages have enjoyed. The Aerial Nutcracker fills spectators with awe and wonder as Sora’s performers fly through the air, display astounding feats of strength, jaw dropping tricks, stunning flexibility, magical illusions, and extravagant beauty.
